Applicability (statewide, local, limited): STATEWIDE

The Nevada Public Works Board’s adoption only applies to state owned lands/projects.  The adopted codes and amendments are found at this link:   Adopted_Codes.pdf (nv.gov).  Each City and County adopt their codes separately although, they coordinate within the State of Nevada.   

Tall Mass Timber Adoption

The tall mass timber provisions went into effect in 2023 for Henderson, NV and Las Vegas, NV.

Amendments Disadvantaging Wood Construction:

Amendments do not adversely impact Wood Construction.

Next Update Cycle:

The adoption of the 2021 codes are underway.
