Building Codes are adopted at the County and municipal level, and smaller towns generally defer to the counties for code enforcement. Building Codes are adopted at the county and municipal level; however the 2018 IPC, IMC, IFGC, and IECC have been adopted at the state level. Most communities have adopted the 2015 I Codes.
