Applicability (statewide, local, limited): STATEWIDE

The Nevada Public Works Board’s adoption only applies to state owned lands/projects.  The adopted codes and amendments are found at this link:   Adopted_Codes.pdf (nv.gov).  Each City and County adopt their codes separately although, they coordinate within the State of Nevada.   

Mass Timber Adoption

The mass timber provisions went into effect in 2023 for Henderson, NV and Las Vegas, NV.

Notes:

The City of Reno adopted the 2018 IBC, IRC, IEBC and IECC with Northern NV amendments found at this link: 2018 NNICC Amendments Final Document 10-18-18.docx (reno.gov). The County of Clark adopted the same codes with Southern NV amendments found at this link: Clark County, NV (clarkcountynv.gov).
