AWC Field Staff Recognized for Industry Expertise and Excellence

AWC’s field staff were recognized several times throughout the year with industry awards and positions that continue to demonstrate the trust and authority our staff have built across the codes and standards field. AWC’s Vice President of Codes and Regulations was invited to serve on the ASTM Board, and throughout the year, other members of the field staff team received awards, including:

• The International Code Council’s Educator of the Year Award
• Co-Chair of the Structural Engineers Association of Southern California Code Committee
• Chair of the International Code Council Region III Code Development Committee (North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin)
• Associate Director of the Ohio Building Officials Association Board of Directors
• Chair of the International Building Code – Structural Code Development Committee
• Chair of the International Residential Code – Building Code Development Committee
