This article provides and overview of the 2015 Code Conforming Wood Design (CCWD) document, which summarizes the most common requirements for wood construction for buildings, according to the 2015 International Building Code (IBC). CCWD was produced in partnership with the International Code Council (ICC). The purpose of this article is to explore code provisions for larger wood buildings allowed under the 2015 IBC.
