Allowable Heights and Areas Calculator.

AWC has developed an allowable heights and areas calculator with comprehensive Help file that demonstrates the degree of freedom allowed in wood construction by providing a general summary of allowable wood uses, including building height and area requirements.

AWC has also developed free downloadable documents on wood design in accordance with the International Building Code.

Fire and Other Issues

AWC has developed documents for fire design and design of post-frame buildings. Access these free downloadable documents.

Code Adoption Map

AWC has compiled a map illustrating which versions of the International Codes are applicable in each state. This map shows states that have adopted the IBC at a statewide, local, or limited level, and specifies the edition of the code currently being enforced in the state.
